Christians in recovery - Almost everyone has the need to recover from or overcome something in their lives. Christians in Recovery® (CIR) is a group of recovering Christians dicated to mutual sharing of faith, strength and hope as we live each day in recovery. We work to regain and maintain balance and order in our lives through active discussion of the 12 Steps, the Bible, and experiences in our own recovery from abuse, family dysfunction, depression, anxiety, grief, relationships and/or addictions of alcohol, drugs, food, pornography, sexual addiction, etc. - Click here..

ACoA(Adult Children of Alcoholics): Twelve Step/Tradition program of women and men who grew up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional homes. We meet with each other in a mutually respectful, safe environment and acknowledge our common experiences. We discover how childhood affected us in the past and influences us in the present. We take positive action. By practicing the Twelve Steps, focusing on "The Solution", and accepting a loving Higher Power of our understanding, we find freedom from the past and a way to improve our lives today. Unity Church - A not-for-profit organization based on the teachings of Jesus and the healing power of prayer. "Religious philosophy with an 'open end,' seeking to find God's truth in all of life". Basic teachings: 1) God is good and everywhere present. 2)The spirit of God lives within each person, therefore, all people are inherently good. 3)We create our life experiences through our way of thinking. 4) There is power in affirmative prayer, which we believe increases our connection to God. 5) Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We must live them.

ACIM(A Course in Miracles): Is a complete self-study spiritual thought system. As a three-volume curriculum consisting of a Text, Workbook for Students, and Manual for Teachers, it teaches that the way to universal love and peace—or remembering God—is by undoing guilt through forgiving. The Course thus focuses on the healing of relationships and making them holy. Even though the language of the Course is that of traditional Christianity, it expresses a non-sectarian, non-denominational spirituality. A universal spiritual teaching, not a religion.
